BIOMECHANICAL INDICATORS FOR TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF THE APPROACH RUN IN THE LONG JUMPÂ
Abstract
A study of the technical performance of school athletes jump School Sports Initiation School (EIDE) "Pedro Diaz Coello" Holguin, from the analysis of the behavior of the kinematic characteristics present in the race approach is made, supported by comparing the results of the 2 athletes under study with the values reported in the literature to determine the mechanical regularities that influence the outcome in this mode, specify fundamental errors and propose exercises as suggestions in the process of training. The research is supported in a case study, on the premise of achieving an overview of the implementation of the approach run in the long jump, from the description of the process under study in their behavior and structure. Theoretical, empirical, and biomechanical methods, with the right techniques, which are in line with the objectives, to give solution to the problem are used. The medition made and applied exercise program contributed to improved takeoff technique in the long jump function to optimize the technique, injury prevention and improve athletic performance.
Key words. Biomechanics, kinematics approach run, long jump
