Health and physical activity professionals are crucial for improving the quality of life of older adults with diabetes mellitus through physical activity programs. Their collaborative work allows them to learn about the disease and improve the physical and psychological well-being of this age group. The objective of this research was to implement a set of physical exercises to improve the quality of life of older adults with diabetes mellitus. A quantitative study was conducted within the Felton health area at the "Alegría de Vivir" Senior Citizens' Circle, with a population of 16 older adults. A random sample of 12, representing 75%, was selected from this group. The study was conducted between September 2024 and March 2025. The statistical method of percentage calculation was used to quantitatively assess the results between measurements. With the implementation of the set of physical exercises, significant results were obtained in terms of the improvement in the quality of life of older adults with diabetes mellitus, according to the evaluated indicators: physical and psychological well-being. The research demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed set of physical exercises for improving the quality of life of older adults with diabetes mellitus in Felton, Mayarí municipality, Holguín province.
