PHYSICAL WORK CAPACITY, BODY COMPOSITION AND BIOLOGICAL MATURITY IN SCHOOL FENCING
Abstract
The objective of this investigation was value the biological maturity through of sexual development(staging of pubis vellus and genital) and it relation with body composition manifested for the free fat mass(FFM), the fat body weight(FBW), the index of body mass(IBM) and de physical work capacities(PWC). It chosen a sample of 36 students that have training of fencing and were made the measurements in de mesocycle of special preparation. The outcomes show differences in the sexual maturity and the chronological age between sportman of the same age, also there are significant differences(P< 0,05) between PWC, FFM, IBM and FBW to relate them with the staging of sexual maturation. Moreoven was obtained significant correlations between variables and staging of sexual development, that prove the necessity of cluster the athletes according to their biological development for apply them the physical loads.
