THE PHYSICAL THERAPEUTIC CULTURE IN REHABILITION OF ATAXIA TYPE 2

Abstract

The spinocerebelous ataxia is a hereditary illness with a autosomic dominant  inheritance pattern. Affects individuals predominantly between 30 and 40 years. Holguín is the region of the country with the most prevalence, for such a reason she is carried out a deep investigation work guided to improve the physical conditions of the patients that  allows to improve the conditions of life. In the area of health Pedro Del Toro of Holguín a program of properly validated physical exercises is applied and methodologically sustained at a sample of 10 patients, 6 of the feminine sex and 4 of the masculine. Six months after the beginning of its application a general stability of the indicators is verified measured with slight ascents and descents, although the results are not significant; the importance of the exercise was corroborated for the improvement of the quality of life of the patients with ataxia espinocerebelosa tipo2 and the knowledge of the physical characterization of this type was enlarged of patient
