Recreational activities for the treatment of gestacional diabetes

Abstract

The practice of recreational activities as essential element in the social life of communities is oriented to satisfy the needs of the different groups among them the adult stage maxim if it is about the women suffering from gestational diabetes; these ones have limited knowledge about their illness characteristics, not enough practice of physical activities, less feeding culture, irregularities in the assistance to the Obstetrician and Gynecologist consultation. An investigation in the community from the neighborhood "Sanfield", Holguin  municipality where theoretical methods such as the analytical- synthetic, inductive-deductive and empirical such as statistical-mathematical, observation, interviews, surveys were employed, a recreational proposal is elaborated and during their using satisfactory results are obtained, like the transformation of the selected indicators evidenced in a bigger education for health.
