Abstract

Hypertension (HBP) is a chronic disease characterized by a continuous increase in blood pressure in the arteries, which is divided into two types, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, according to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2017). The study was developed with students with arterial hypertension from the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Holguín, who do not have associated pathologies. An alternative of dynamic force exercises is proposed to work each muscular plane directed to the individualized work taking into account the studies carried out by Kelley, G.A. and Kelley, K.S. (2000a, 2000b), Román (2004) and Uranga (2014). In this work different methods were used such as historical-logical, analysis and synthesis, deductive-inductive, unstructured observation, survey and descriptive statistics, as well as sports training, repetitions and principles such as the progressive increase of loads and undulation of charges between others. By comparing the initial test with the end, the practitioners manage to increase strength and lower blood pressure.

Key words. Arterial hypertension, dynamic force, exercise with weights
