Actions for sexual and environmental education of school and high-performance athletes

Abstract

This research responds to the Project Not Associated with the Program “Sexual and environmental education in school and high-performance athletes”. For its development, 50 % of the population of strategic sports in Granma was used.  The problem was defined, based on the various instruments of scientific research (survey, interviews, observations of the training process, the school and sports context). The following objective was set for its solution: to propose a system of sexual-environmental tasks and actions, which allow the education al process to be perfected, with an integrative and contextualized nature of the athletes, in such a way that it contributes to improving behavior and attitude, for adequate sexual and environmental health. There suits were incorporated into the proposal for a "Sexual and environmental education manual", based on sexual-environmental tasks and actions for athletes", incorporated in to the proposed methodology, for coaches, educators and the triad of sports medicine (doctors and psychologists and the doctor specializing in gynecology).
