Ethics and sports, the dialogue between philosophy and sports on the fight against doping
Keywords:
ethics; doping; sport; moralityAbstract
There are many moral issues in sports: and doping is one of the most neglected. When we talk about doping, we only think about the damage to the physical and mental health of athletes, but the ethical/moral damage is also something very serious and can be of the same severity as the damage to health. In this article describe the moral damage of the athlete who uses doping substances in sport, and the role of philosophy in the fight against doping. That perhaps has the most important role regarding medicine and law, because it is from the philosophy that education is born, and from education we can improve this fight against doping, which is a true cancer of sport.
