THE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF THE CHILDREN WITH NECESSITIES EDUCATIONAL INTELLECTUALS WEIGHS TO LEAVE OF THE RECREATIONAL PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Abstract
The social inclusion of children –males and females alike, bearing slight intelectual Special Educative Needs, represents one of the most important goals which the Cuban social model is aiming for, such as physical activities which are very valuable for the role they play in these subjects’ physical, biological, psychological and social development. The work starts by not involving these children in the communitary, recreative, physical activities and the unawareness of what recreations instructors in sports complexes really mean to the children’s family, as well as their knowledge of characteristics and appropriate treatment to ensure their full social incorporation. We deal with this problem and object of study starting from methodological and theoretical analysis that supports them. The application of different theoretical and empirical methods, as well as techniques applied on these children, parent, recreations instructors, and board of directors of “Feliú Leyva†Sports Complex led us to confirm the need to propose a Recreative Strategy with adapted games aiming at upgrading and preparing recreations instructors and relatives based on reflexion workshops that promote their joint action toward this purpose. The suitableness and feasibility of this proposal is endorsed by a communitary forum where all the communitary elements were present, also families and instructors engaged in this task. It was unanimously approved.
