KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICAL ALIMENTARY IN TRAINERS OF SPORTS OF it COMBATS OF THE ESPA DE HOlGUÃN
Abstract
The present work analyzes the alimentary knowledge and practical of a sample to combat sports trainers at the ESPA in Holguín. The trainers were interviewed by a specialist in Sport Medicine that she works in the institution. The knowledge and alimentary practices were grouped in three blocks: those related with quantitative and qualitative aspects of the feeding in the sport, those related with the ingestion of liquids and those related with the loss of nutritious as a result of the realization of physical efforts. The results indicate that little knowledge exists about the energy requirements of the athletes that practice combat sports, as well as of the percentage relationship among the nutrients that contribute the energy in the diet the paper of the muscular glucógeno was ignored as carbohydrate reservation, to guarantee the big efforts carried out to intervals that characterize to these sports and the paper of the proteins in these sports, assuming it function like energy source for the moments of maximum effort. The trainers recognize the importance of the ingestion of liquids, however they present difficulties when selecting the temperature to that should be, the moments in that you/they should gives and the paper of the fruits like means for the incorporation of water and mineral substances.
