THE MENSURATION OF VALUES IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION, OBSERVATION OF THE ACTIVITY AND COEVALUACIÓN
Abstract
The physical education in Cuba, is part of the curriculum in all the teaching levels and in the superior education, it is imparted in all the university careers that receive classes of this discipline during four semesters, with a total of 192 hours of classes, its main objectives are: to elevate the quality of life, the civic education and the formation of the personality and the promotion of the healthy use of the free time. The objective of the present work is to contribute to the civic education from the instruction in the physical education. A problem is determined: How to measure the development of the values in the Application of the Plans and Programs of the Physical Education in the Holguín University? And this is carried out starting from the application of two techniques, the observation of the activity of the students, and the coevaluación. The reached results confirm the validity of these techniques in the mensuration of values. The classification of the activity of the students, indicates the appraisement of the physical activity, the responsibility and acquired independence, as well as the perseverance or capacity to make volitional efforts. The coevaluación allowed through the emission of trials valorativos in conflict situation, the mensuration of values as the responsibility, the honesty, and the courage. The necessity was also evidenced of maintaining a systemic methodological work, mainly with the beginner professors, so that they can carry out its educational activities.Key words.
