LIPID CONTROL IN TYPE 2 DIABETIC PATIENTS
Abstract
We performed a prospective longitudinal intervention study, quasi-experimental in Comprehensive Care Home Diabetic Holguin municipality during the period from January to June 2012. The criterion for inclusion the age group between 35-50 years, the consent of participation by them, and they were metabolically compensated, they were divided into two groups, with equal quantity and composition of patients, both with diet and medication control, differentiating only by the regime of physical activity in order to assess the impact of aerobic exercise program on lipid and metabolic control of the disease. For the analysis and interpretation of the results were used empirical methods such as observation, measurement, and experiment, and statistical methods. As a result of the investigation shows that the extent that were increased training loads, there was a variation in blood glucose levels, glycosylated hemoglobin cholesterol, HDL, VDL-cholesterol and triglycerides in the experimental group, as blood , heart rate, cardiovascular efficiency and body composition by decreasing the initial values for the exercise program.Key words: Diabetes Type II, lipoic control, physical activity
