The story of sports has been one of the less spaces benefitted by the scientific investigation. It provokes that theme continue being in favor of big voids in different specialties marked. The fencing presents a group of deficiencies in the area of knowledge from the historic point of view delivered his principal exponents's scarce divulgation and worked out sports cars in the provinces Holguín. The present-day status of knowledge of story of fencing was  determined in an initial diagnosis accomplished, which as he threw up than exist some insufficiencies in this aspect. These limitations permitted determining to like scientific problem: ¿How contributing to the knowledge of story of fencing at Holguín's province? work pursues like objective revealing the origin of fencing in Holguín and principal doings than acontecieron in the period 1970 to 2011. They utilized fact-finding methods of the theoretic levels, empiricists and statisticians. As they expose principal aftermath than right after the utilization of the bibliographic elaborate and proven material his effectiveness propitiated a deepening in the theoretic knowledge about the origin and development of fencing in Holguín  itself. An important base of data on this worldwide sports in Cuba, intends to and very particularly of Holguín's province. With his utilization he gets for himself a bigger certainty in the knowledge and historic culture on the origin and I develop of fencing holguinera, gooing into the stage of 1970 to the 2011.
