Abstract
Studies carried out, demonstrate that massage is one of the most natural and instinctive means to relieve pain or discomfort. For this investigation we went over the use of techniques to relieve pain through the manipulation of massage, applying it in the serous bag which is located in the humeral scapula. It constitutes our practical contribution. Subacromial bursitis is due to an adjacent injury which prompts the inflammation of this bursa. Generally it is the most involved for its great size and anatomical position. Frictions can be combined with compress. This combination adds a component of stretching. The application of this has a chemist and mechanical reflex effect and it is the most current method nowadays. The main goal of this maneuver is to mobilize the soft tissue so the area to be worked outshould in a lax position. Taking into account the experience achieved, we proposed to carry out a physiotherapy treatment, with a sample of affected people who were in agreement to undergo to it, to asses the affects, analyzing the traditional methods used, setting as main objective to establish a methodology for the physiotherapy and some other techniques to relieve pain through different manipulations of the massage on the subacromial or humeral scapula bursitis. With the technique of the massage 20 patients were rehabilitated, 5 of them under 35 years old, 10 between the ages of 35 and 45, and 5 who were older than 45.Key words.
