Abstract

The subject of formation of values is of strategic importance in society; proper development of new generations depends largely, the historical continuity of the Cuban Revolution. The social mission of forming young revolutionaries with a high level of political-ideological and scientific-technical training encourages comprehensive education of students in the Physical Culture, hence the need to contribute to the formation of attitudes, norms, values, convictions, expressed in physical activity. In reviewing the literary creation of Cuba we find the existence of a clear thread of the Cuban expression in the underlying axes of national identity, the sense of solidarity and justice. In this sense literature is of enormous significance. In Communicative Spanish class ways to enhance students' feelings of patriotism, discipline, modesty, responsibility and strengthen their national identity are given. The work is aimed to demonstrate the potential that the lyrical texts by Nicolas Guillén, our National Poet, have to contribute to the spiritual enrichment of the student of Physical Culture.
