ADAPTED PHYSICAL- RECREATIONAL GAMES DEVELOPMENT OF JOINT MOBILITY LOWER LIMB IN A PATIENT WITH MULTIPLE CONGENITAL ARTHROGRYPOSIS

Abstract

Studies related to Adapted Physical Activity acquire great significance today. Rehabilitation for patients with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) has a psychoeducational approach. Are the studies that refer to the value of physical-recreational games for rehabilitation in the areas of Prophylactic and Therapeutic Physical Culture. In the work proposed by Inerarity (2007) are contextualized to help develop joint mobility of the lower limbs. They prevalent component of the movement and contribute to improve range of hip and knee, as well as family satisfaction. The study was conducted in the rehabilitation ward of the town of El Gigante, in the town of Santa Clara, Villa Clara province, in a patient with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. This case study is considered as a kind of experimental design as a stimulus is applied to an individual and the effect is seen on some variables.
