Abstract

This article assumes the need to train practitioners of sport diving in the city of Manta in Manabi Province in Ecuador, from an empirical study concerning this practice and ignorance on the part of its practitioners risks and consequences that can result in people dedicated to this activity, which allowed the authors declare as research problem What are the existing theoretical, policy and regulatory foundation for the practice of sport diving ?, declared aim to systematize the basics theoretical, methodological, policy and regulatory practice for recreational diving. The same part of the main physical, biochemical and physiological foundations demanding this practice, promoting the existence and match making by institutions, schools and diving schools providing a set of rules, norms and principles to prevent accidents, illnesses, injuries and diseases which are negative and sometimes unfortunate consequences attacking the health and lives of those who practice it.
