Abstract

This article is a brief historical review of the origin and development of tennis in Ecuador and Manta, is part of the origin and historical background of tennis in the world, it is characterized as a sport and the results of its development are valued in contemporary times in Manta , Ecuador. The authors rely on written and oral sources of great value for the results presented.
