BRIEF VOLEYBALL BACKGROUNDS AND ITS ARRIVAL TO MANTA, ECUADOR

Abstract

Since the begining of Volleyball in 1895 it has evolved a lot and has won in relevance in the whole world. In this work the main moments of this process are analyzed, highlighting the landmarks at global level, as well as the particularities in America and in other contexts like the Manta city in Ecuador. The objective is to carry out a historical brief review that contributes to its popularization like sport and to ennoble its importance. In their development it stands out their father´s founder compromise and their followers to achieve the place reached at the moment, in that Latin America has had a significant contribution. In Ecuador and in the Manta city it development has been impregnated by the spirit of the progress and the collective effort of trainers and professors of Physical Education.
