Abstract

The investigation starts with the deficiencies identified in the development of motor skills Basketball in Nine year of the Education Unit "Juan Montalvo" in the city of Manta, Ecuador; that has impact on the scope of learning results of content of the curriculum content of Physical Education. There was applied a methodology for teaching Basketball, based on playful integrated actions, from theoretical underpinnings, within the integrated teaching model sports games, taing into account research and practical experiences They were used as scientific methods: the analysis-synthesis, induction deduction, deductive hypothetical, document analysis, an educational test, observation, interview and pre experiment that allowed us to obtain qualitative results. Recreational activities for teaching integrated Basketball constitute a group of specialized exercises, competitive, motivational and gradually apply following an order and sequence in four stages, becoming the nucleus of the methodology.
