EVALUATION CONTRACTILITY AND ELASTIC CAPACITY WEIGHTLIFTERS HOLGUIN
Abstract
This research evaluates the behavior of the contractile capacity and elastic capacity as indicators of explosive force in weightlifting athletes, school class at the School of Sports Initiation School (EIDE) Pedro Díaz Coello Holguin province. It worked with eleven athletes representing 100% of the population. A measurement was performed using the contact Mouse, designed in Electronic components factory in Pinar del Rio, similar to the one used by Bosco. Battery Bosco jumps only Squat Jump (SJ) or jump without counter and Counter Movement Jump (CMJ), or countermovement jump were made that allowed evaluate indicators mentioned above. The analysis of the results showed the state contractile capacity and capacity was elastic; as well as what percent athlete can improve its explosive force using muscle elasticity.
