FIDEL CASTRO: 90 YEARS OF OLYMPIC HISTORY
Abstract
Fidel Castro's recent remembrance on his early fondness to sports and mountain climbing; in the VII Congress of the Communist Cuba's Party, that memorable encounter held with Your Real Highness Prince Ahmad Al-Sabad, Committee’s Association's Olympics’ National president as well as the Cubans athletes' relevant sports results at different competitive scenes, like Rio's Olympic Games 2016, are more than enough reasons to reflect on the study of his contribution to the development of sports, in particular, of the Olympic Movement.
