Abstract

In the article are accomplished a theoretic systematization and critical analysis of the Ecuadorian achievements in education and environmental contemporary management. It breaks of the problem: Insufficient theoretic systematization of the educational reality and of environmental management in Ecuador in the contemporaneity to contribute to the environmental education in the university context. It´s utilize theoretic methods that enabled an environmental characterization of the studied context and is accomplished an approximation to causes and consequences of environmental problems. It´s assumes the sustainable development like vertebrate axle of the projections of solution and are show proofs of the environmental Ecuadorian management. Finally, is appraised the environmental education from a pedagogic perspective in the context of universities like starting point of Ecuadorian university environmental management.
