Abstract

Infant cerebral palsy (CIP) is one of the most important medical problems in medicine in developed and Cuban countries. The present work is directed to propose a program of physical exercises and rehabilitation for patients with motor affections due to infantile cerebral palsy, which will contribute to the rehabilitation of the studied subject. It is the result of the work of the Student Scientific Circle of Applied Sports Sciences of the UCCFD in Cienfuegos. Among the methods used are fundamentally analytical- synthetic, inductive- deductive, and structural- functional systems that influenced in an improvement of the indicators, in particular the applied test, the Barthel index, in the case studied.
