Strategy for the masification of sport at Laica University Eloy Alfaro of Manabí

Abstract

The article exposes the problem of sports massification at the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University, in the Republic of Ecuador, from insufficiencies declared in previous articles, which show the inconsistencies in the application of sports policies, a criterion that reveals the need of the study. It is proposed a strategy of sports massification that taxes the increase in practice, participation in sporting events and the integral formation of students. The use of empirical methods such as the interview and the survey support the quality of the proposal. The application of the Delphi method demonstrated the relevance of the strategy for its application in the university under investigation.
