Abstract

In the article a didactic strategy is exposed to promote the integral formation of the future doctor that is able to recognize the value of the Physical Education and its systematic practice in its professional performance. Theoretical and empirical methods were used that favored the analysis of the problem, detecting the lack of contents in the program related to other disciplines of the career. It was verified that after this subject the medical students do not perform physical activities with a systematic character, being very low the percentage of incorporated into the activities of the extracurricular sport, however, after applying the didactic strategy, the connection of the students with these activities, which is an achievement in the new conception of Physical Education addressed to these doctors in training.
