Passive games for the course sports basketball
Abstract
The article has as starting point the limitations presented by the university students who receive the subject Basketball Sport, in the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, of the University of Holguín, in relation to the knowledge of the regulation and the technical vocabulary of this sport . In its solution, a battery of passive games related to the rules and the technical vocabulary that students must possess for their future professional performance is proposed. In its elaboration, the methodology contributed by Watson et al. (2008). The methods used at the theoretical level were the historical-logical, the analysis-synthesis and the inductive-deductive; of the empirical observation, survey and measurement, which as a whole facilitated the realization of the study. The effectiveness of the applied passive games was demonstrated through the measurement of the results of the pre-test and post-test in which it was corroborated that there was a considerable increase in the knowledge of the regulations and the technical vocabulary of the students investigated.
