Abstract

The fight against neurodegenerative diseases has become a necessity worldwide, in order to achieve healthy lifestyles and greater life expectancy. Based on this, an investigation is carried out with patients from the Báguanos municipality, province of Holguin who suffer from spinocerebellar ataxia type 2. For the conduct of the research, theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods were used. Within the theoretical level: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, hypothetical-deductive and empirical: observation, interview, survey, document review. The nominal group consensus technique was used to know the criteria of specialists in the areas of health and sports in relation to the relevance of the proposal. Physical-recreational activities are proposed that enhance fine motor skills. In this way, a positive influence is exerted on the neurorehabilitation of patients with this pathology and an improvement in their quality of life.
