Abstract

In the group of speed sports-force the main manifestation of special force they require is explosive force. Among these sports is athletics and especially speed racing. Strength training is an important complement to a runner's progress, as it strengthens muscles and joints, helps improve running time and significantly reduces the risk of injury. It can be said that it is practically impossible to achieve high levels of speed without the application of explosive force. These elements justify the present study that aims to reflect on the theoretical and methodological requirements for the training of explosive force in 100-meter sprinting athletes.
