Field Defense Reaction in Junior High Volleyball Players
Abstract
This study was carried out with a group of 13-15-year-old Volleyball Players with the objective to create a system of psychopedagogical actions to improve the field defense reaction time of these junior high athletes from the Initiation Sports School (EIDE by its Spanish accronym) Pedro Díaz Coello in Holguin. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods were used; they allowed the diagnostic antecedents, as well as the current situation of the researched topic and the triangulation of the obtained results. The study fulfilled and solved one of the present volleyball problems; at the time it gave coaches a system of actions from the psychopedagogical perspective to face the limitations of the school teams in relation to the reaction time of the field defense technical element in such players from the aforementioned school in Holguin.
