PHYSICAL TRAINING IN THE ADOLESCENT
Abstract
The high indexes of sedentarismo of the world, the increase of the cardiovascular illnesses, of the overweight and the loss of the population's physical and functional capacity, they are no longer alone the adult's problem but rather also of the young population. The advances in the physiology of the exercise applied to the clinic and the health, they have allowed to evolve and to radically modify the bases and foundations of this activity like likewise the conceptual level with which the physical exercise should be managed that embraces a different methodology in the processes of mensuration of the functional capacity, in the prescription of the exercise or training and in the methods to use. The intensities and exercise volumes will determine the type and magnitude of the effect of the training on the diverse structures and functions, allowing this way to early age physiologic mechanisms of prevention of such modern chronic. All these qualities of the rational, dosed and scientifically designed applied physical exercise allow from very early age to develop during the growth characteristics functional protectors and preventive in the quality of the adolescents' life.
