Hands have great importance for the development of man, due to the great versatility of movements and the functions they perform in the process of historical and social development of man. Degenerative diseases greatly limit these individual and social processes in the community. The most frequent thing that faces in the hands is the loss of active and passive movement, paralysis, pain, sensory disorders and loss of the parts of the hand. The present research work leads to the improvement of hand osteoarthritis through community physical activity. Exercises are applied at sea for the treatment of people with this pathology, from the El Ramón community in the municipality of Antilla. Based on the results obtained, it was determined to perform physical exercises at sea, replacing those performed on land as a therapeutic alternative in the treatment of hand osteoarthritis. The main conclusions point to the need to use natural physical agents that are within the reach of communities and their inhabitants, in the rehabilitation of different diseases.
