Abstract

Baseball, the Cuban national sport, has reached relevant results in Granma. The junior categories stand out and especially the 11-12-year-old one, which serves as the basis for Junior Leagues competitions. It is necessary then to study the opposing team, regarding regulation and game system through the application of sports intelligence as an integrative discipline of information management that makes possible to draw strategies to anticipate and take actions to achieve competitive success. The objective of the work is to offer applied actions in the components of sports intelligence: organizational, competitive and counterintelligence. For its development, methods and techniques were applied such as: brainstorming, observation, interviews and document review. It allowed data to be obtained, consulted and analyzed to get the information necessary for the baseball team competitive success in the Junior League in Bayamo, Granma, supported by scientific and technical improvement for training technicians.
