Proposal of games physique - therapeutic in the rehabilitation of the escoliosis in light mental delay

Abstract

This research was carried out with light mental delay children, in 8-11 year-old ages, to check the effectiveness of a group of games to correct the escoliotic curve present in the patients. The sample was conformed by six cases, 1 female and 5 males of a universe of the first cycle of the special school Nguyen Van Troi in Holguín city. The methodology was performed by a group of corrective games that contribute to the decrease of the grade of the escoliotic curve. The data was compiled before and processed through the statistical package "STADISTICA_60". The conclusions allow knowing that 83% of the rehabilitated children reduced the grades of deviation of the escoliotic curve.
