The civic education: their formation from the physical education

Abstract

In the research, a theoretical study is carried out about the main elements that characterize citizenship education in primary school learners. The Andre Voisin Legendre primary school in the municipality of Holguín was chosen as the work scenario, specifically the fourth grade, because it is the grade that closes the first cycle and obviously gives way to the fifth, which is the one that begins the study of civic education as a subject. With the use of theoretical methods such as analytical-synthetic, historical-logical and inductive-deductive, and also the use of interviews and the review of documents, a set of educational actions was developed to favor citizen education in the students of this degree, as a precedent for the development of the programs of the second cycle and to give way to one of the educational components of the teaching process of the school (civic education). They contribute to citizenship education from physical education and serve as a didactic tool for teachers when developing their classes.
