Didática e números: os pilares sabermétricos do treinamento de arremessos de beisebol

Este estudo analisa a integração sistemática de métodos didáticos tradicionais com ferramentas sabermétricas contemporâneas para otimizar a formação integral de arremessadores de beisebol. A pesquisa identificou como problema central a limitada articulação entre os recursos pedagógicos convencionais e a análise estatística avançada nos processos de treinamento. O objetivo foi desenvolver uma metodologia didática que combinasse ambas as abordagens, considerando o desenvolvimento de habilidades técnico-táticas e capacidades cognitivas próprias de arremessadores profissionais. Foram empregados métodos como análise-síntese, hipotético-dedutivo, sistêmico-estrutural-funcional, observação e análise documental. O trabalho foi realizado com um grupo de arremessadores de alto nível durante um ciclo completo de preparação, incorporando sessões teóricas sobre métricas avançadas e exercícios práticos adaptados a situações reais de competição. Os resultados mostraram melhorias em quatro dimensões: compreensão e aplicação de estatísticas avançadas, precisão técnica nos arremessos, antecipação de ações ofensivas e tomada de decisões sob pressão. Como conclusões, esta integração metodológica constitui uma contribuição relevante para a formação contemporânea de arremessadores abridores, ao articular fundamentos pedagógicos com o potencial analítico da sabermetria e oferecer ferramentas objetivas para fortalecer o desenvolvimento de talentos no beisebol de alto rendimento.
