Abstract

Coordinative capacities are extremely complex capacities that influence the quality of the motor act and all the activity that involves movement within human activity. Agility is fast as the maximum expression of the conjugation of all coordinative capacities and the sum of the ability to sprint, accelerate, decelerate and change direction, elements of utmost importance in football. That is why it is required that this ability be developed in soccer players and especially in the training categories. Taking into account the elements presented, a study and analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations that support agility training in soccer players in training categories was set as the objective of the present work. In the study, documentary analysis and content analysis are used as fundamental methods, providing as a main result the systematization of the theoretical and methodological foundations that support the agility training in soccer players of training categories.
