The Methodological Work in the Volleyball Coach Training Process

Abstract

The insufficiencies in the methodological work of the preparation of the Volleyball coach at the Initial Sports School (EIDE by its Spanish acronym) “Carlos Leyva” from Las Tunas led to the design of a system of actions aimed at improving the Quality Management of the methodological work they carried out. It becomes a way of directing the training sports pedagogical process. Various methods and techniques were used that made possible the establishment from the bibliographic review the contextual and theoretical framework based on the principles of the standards for Quality Management ISO 9000 (2000). It was possible to diagnose the current state of that type of work in the context of the research, determine the structure and content assumed by the system and evaluate its design and implementation in practice. The research provides the conception of a system of methodological actions that satisfy the preparation needs of Volleyball coaches to raise the quality of the methodological work based on principles and standards of Quality Management.
