Diagnosis of physical-motor disability in pediatric patients in a rural community context

In the diagnosis of physical-motor disability, the involvement of the greatest possible number of community actors is necessary, among which the family doctor and other specialists (therapists and graduates in Physical Culture) who intervene in their treatment and rehabilitation in integration with school. The most relevant results lie in a study that allows diagnosing the main disabilities that from this perspective affect pediatric patients, so that it serves as a starting point for the projection of their treatment in the rural community context. The integration of several research methods (analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, survey, interview, scientific observation, descriptive statistics) made it possible to diagnose the existence of physical-motor disabilities in pediatric patients in the rural community of Cañadón en Banes. With the diagnosis made, the actors involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of these disabilities are in better conditions to make correct decisions aimed at their treatment and rehabilitation.
