Abstract

The use of body expression as an effective strategy to facilitate the inclusion of students with hearing disabilities in physical education classes shows that the implementation of body expression techniques significantly improves the participation and performance of these students, by allowing them to communicate non-verbally and develop interaction skills with peers. The objective of the research is to explore how the incorporation of these techniques can provide an effective tool to include and enhance the participation of students with hearing disabilities, and contribute to the comprehensive development, participation and educational well-being of such students promoting an inclusive and equitable environment. The research is based on an exploratory-descriptive scope and qualitative with a comprehensive approach. It reviews documents, applies an interview to an expert academic peer, and analyses the students with learning difficulties through an observation guide. The study focuses on students with hearing disabilities in the eighth year of the institution. A significant improvement was observed in the participation and performance of the students, having a notable increase in the interest of students with hearing disabilities in physical education classes, which allowed us reach the conclusion that body expression not only allows them to communicate effectively, but also encourages the development of non-verbal communication skills within classes.
