Abstract

The work addresses theoretical and methodological assumptions that characterize physical training and specifically speed in its different manifestations in modern football, which allowed the authors to determine the objective of the study to verify the effectiveness of a system of exercises and Methods for speed training in BSC professional female soccer players. As materials and methods in the research, which had an explanatory scope with a pre-experimental design, the measurement method was used with the application of the speed test in 10, 30 and 60 meters to the participants (n=20) in two moments (during the concentration and in the final phase of the competition with six mesocycles of implementation. The main results focused on the introduction of a variety of methods and exercises for speed training in a block periodization that allowed the work to be integrated with others. directions of preparation.
