THE EVALUATION OF LEARNING WITH INTEGRATING AND FORMATIVE CHARACTER IN THE STUDENTS OF PHYSICAL CULTURE
Abstract
The research starts from the insufficiencies in the evaluation of learning with an integrating character in the students in the Faculty of Physical Culture, University of Holguín. A characterization of the current state of the integrative evaluation in the investigated sample is proposed. The application of methods such as interviews with senior professors of the year, discipline, heads of departments and teachers based on knowing their criteria on the problem investigated corroborated the above. The participant observation, the group survey with the students, the triangulation of the information obtained through these sources and the review of documents such as resolutions, planning documents and records of the controls to the teaching activities made it possible to deepen the analysis of the results to offer conclusions in the theoretical and practical order with a scientific support. The results determined that integrative assessments favor the development of intellectual and investigative skills in students; they demand of the university professor the permanent improvement, nevertheless, it was verified that during the last 4 academic years there has been a lack of systematic and deep in the integrative evaluations that have limited the protagonism of the professionals in formation.
