Methodological Treatment to the Basic Professional Skill "to Argue your Criteria" from the Subject Sports I (Athletics)

Abstract

This research is aimed at the Sports Major´s professional training, conceived from the limitations when presenting the elements to support a point of view related to the methodological didactic preparation in the direction of the training process regarding the basic professional skills in the third- year-students from the regular course at the Sports Major Faculty at the University in Santiago de Cuba. Its objective is to instruct teachers on the methodological treatment of the basic professional skill “to argue your criteria†from the subject Sports I (athletics) to unify criteria for their subsequent implementation in the educational process at the time the theoretical elements supporting teaching and the basic professional skills are strengthen. Along the research process different methods were used, such as the analysis-synthesis, observation, document revision and the interview. Among the results are specified the acquisition stages of such skill, the steps for its development and its operationalization.
