THE AMBULATORY PROFESSOR OF PHYSICAL CULTURE, AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THE REHABITATION OF ATAXIC PATIENTS TYPE 2

Abstract

In a small area of health of Alex Urquiola, belonging to the municipality of Holguín a program of physical exercises was applied, validated by the clinic of the Ataxia by means of the ambulatory professor of Physical Culture with the objective of elevating the quality of life of the patient atáxicos in stage 2 and the sample was conformed by four patients : 2 of the male and 2 of the female.  The following empiric methods were used: Observation, experiment, mensuration and in the statistical method the dócima of Willcoxon. After a year of the beginning of the application of the program a general stability of the indicators is appreciated, with slight improvements in some variables. Although the results are not significant the importance of the physical exercises applied by the ambulatory professor to elevate the quality of the patients' life with ataxia espinocerebelosa type 2. Some important recommendations were made so that the experience will be generalize to the rest of the population with characteristic similar to the treated sample.
