English Language Strategy: A Tool to Achieve Comprehensive Sports Major Students

Preparing Sports Major professionals finds in the English Language Strategy the space where are satisfied the information gaps the syllabus do not achieve. Improving and completing the communicative skills is the main objective within the strategy design to turn it into a key factor towards its development. This would only be possible if it solves the deficiencies and adequately and systematically treats such skills; which allow using the English language as a working tool. Here it is presented a close assessment to the strategy, its design and reach within the teaching learning process, as well as the possibilities it gives these professionals when developing communicative skills in the English language to access information in this language; likewise, reflections on other strategies are also dealt with. Planning, controlling and assessing this strategy where the curricular, work and research concur allows stating positive results reflected in the scientific area of the students, in whose achievements is remarkable using the English language as a working tool which permitted them widening their specific knowledge, increasing a comprehensive culture, and working with information sources, as well. The proposed English Language strategy reinforces and improves the system of skills as a tool to reach comprehensiveness in these students.
