Physical Education in the Child’s Formation in Preschool Education

Abstract

Studies on the influence of Physical Education in Preschool are more relevant worldwide due to it constitutes an excellent way to strengthen not only the mental health, but the body safety, self-control and confidence, spatial orientation, and the improvement of the kid´s social relationships, as well. Analyzing this issue from the curricular areas to their implementation within the Panamanian educational system, specifically in Vista Alegre, district of Arraiján, it was verified that the 13 teachers selected showed weaknesses in their specialized training.  Through a co-study, along with other methods and techniques as surveys, interviews, non-participant observation, and the experts’ criteria, accurate results were gathered regarding the real state of Physical Education in the child´s formation in Preschool. The teaching practice stated the need to implement a comprehensive training policy concerning knowledge and strategies, as well as guaranteeing the correct implementation within the educational spaces.
