Epistemology Fundamentals of Therapeutic Sports Major in Stroke Motor Aftereffects

Therapeutic Sports Major (CFT by its Spanish acronym) to treat patients suffering from hemiparesis within the community context requires of a specific methodology to guarantee an efficient teaching-therapeutic process, from the theoretical conceptions dealing with the therapeutic treatment of stroke aftereffects and the contemporary approaches of the therapeutic physical activity; reasons which motivated the present research. It aims at presenting the epistemology fundamentals of the Therapeutic Sports Major process to treat the motor sequelae of stroke, emphasizing on hemiparesis. The main methods used were the analysis-synthesis; induction-deduction; triangulation and the historical-logical. From the study of the specialized sources on the field, it was evidenced epistemology inconsistencies in the Therapeutic Sports Major process for its development as a teaching-therapeutic process along with the need of conceiving a structured program to allow integrating the teaching, therapeutic, cognitive and emotional-motor components in persons suffering from hemiparesis caused by stroke; besides, giving the systematic motor actions to develop both at home and the community.
