Teaching activities to develop fine motor skills in preschool children

Abstract

It is in preschool education that the foundations are laid for further learning and conditions are created for the child's entry into school. In this process of development, fine moroseness is of vital importance, it is the starting point of writing. Precisely the problem that sustains the research is related to the need to develop fine motor skills in preschool children. So the objective was focused on the development of activities to promote the development of fine motor skills. Its implementation in practice is carried out from worksheets and its application goes through stages, ranging from diagnosis, execution and evaluation. These allowed to know the level reached by the children and consequently to trace new procedures to continue the development of the fine motor skills. The proposal made it possible to elevate the quality of the diagnosis in the prewriting task to higher levels, which puts them in better conditions for the development of correct writing in the first grade. It also highlights the use of the playful method through short stories, rhymes and riddles.
