Abstract

The objective of this research is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life considering an alliance between physical culture and nutrition, that is, the practice of physical activities in combination with the consumption of food in a balanced way, resulting in a decrease in obesity rates, improvement of health and well-being. This qualitative-quantitative-longitudinal study shows a segment of the population that, with the practice of physical activity and a dietary plan over a period of 60 days, obtains results that are considered benefits for their overall health. Mortality and disability rates are associated with chronic non-communicable diseases, which are increasingly prevalent due to the natural response of the human genome to a change in the environment, excessive availability of food and forced sedentary lifestyle, being a valid explanation for overweight and obesity, it is considered a risk factor for chronic diseases of multifactorial origin, which represent the alteration in body composition with an increase in fat in adipose tissue. It has been shown that changing lifestyles through diet in combination with physical activities counteracts the increase in mortality rates in populations with physical inactivity and poor eating habits
